Dear Duck began as a location and a feeling. No name. No concept. Just a returning client; Nihal, the founder ofThe Lucky Llama, who wanted something warm, joyful, and completely distinctive.
NIHAL DESCRIBED IT SIMPLY:
A HAPPY PLACE!
So we crafted a bistro that doesn't take itself too seriously. We crafted the story: a Frenchwoman and a Californian man who fell in love in Paris, moved to Jeddah, and opened a restaurant together. He cooks the hearty food. She serves it the chic way. Their house is always open.
